Nature itself inspired this piece, trough reminding me how important it is to reconnect with her. Also, symbolically, a man's head between ruts and buildings talks about remembering where you started, when you go to a big world.

Charnie (also known as Daddy Noob) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Belgrade, Serbia. His artistic practice moves freely between painting, sculpture, performance, movement, music, and storytelling, treating art not as separate disciplines but as interconnected languages. Coming from a background in acting, directing, and contemporary dance, Charnie approaches visual art with a strong sense of narrative, rhythm, and presence. Each artwork functions as a scene rather than an illustration — a moment charged with emotion, inner movement, and transition. The themes he explores are diverse, ranging from intimate inner states to reflections on contemporary life, and each story naturally demands its own visual approach. Rather than committing to a single style or aesthetic, he allows every subject to determine its own medium, technique, and form. This results in a body of work that shifts in style and tone, guided not by consistency of appearance, but by consistency of intent. Painting and sculpture serve as essential tools in his practice, offering means of expression that performance, music, and writing cannot fully contain. Through material, texture, and color, he explores states of escape, inner landscapes, and the tension between contemporary reality and personal intuition. His work is rooted in immediacy and authenticity — often instinctive, sometimes raw, and always connected to current emotional needs. This approach aligns with a form of contemporary art brut: art created not to decorate, but to communicate, process, and understand lived experience. For Charnie, art is both a method of learning about life and a way of translating life back into form. Each piece stands as a unique fragment of that ongoing dialogue.
