Sculpture: Light rope on metal mounted on wood

One of one.

Light Watering is a work conceived from an idea in the artist's head and a little while later it was born.

When asked what he wished to portray, Jay Worth Allen replied, "There's probably a deep ethereal message hidden in my mind, but the truth is, I just wanted to do it!"

Inspired by the artist's love for light and its accompanying living shadows (or, "lights and darks" as he puts it), this work is one of several others, all of which are in that bold, yet fully accessible style collectors have come to love in Jay's art.
