Em Kay’s creative journey began in early childhood, guided by curiosity and a love for making. As a child, she wandered through the garden, uncovering clay to shape little statues, collecting twigs, leaves, and flowers to fashion tiny gifts for the people around her. One of the best things she got as a child, was a box with coloured papers, scissors and glue for a summer holiday. She loves to try all creative things in life, from baking bread to crocheting, painting and making collages. Recently she lost her dear brother and as a way of coping she started making a collage (or several) every day. This has amounted to hundreds of collages, so why not share it with the world. She is busy making art every day. There is nothing more calming than making art. She enjoys (and is addicted to) every aspect of making collages. Painting papers by hand, making and finding shapes, experimenting. Freedom is very important to her. Freedom from ego, freedom from judgement, free to make what is genuinely fun and beautiful to her.
