Description of the title given to the piece - (Ametrine) - mineral – it’s two minerals mixed together. These two minerals are amethyst and citrine, which are both forms of quartz. It is also known as “trystine” or “bolivianite”. The latter of which names is a reference to the fact that almost all Ametrine today is mined in the country of Bolivia. It is a highly unique blend of these two energies. Ametrine is a type of quartz crystal that is believed to help to enhance mental and spiritual clarity. As well as helping in uniting masculine and feminine energies. Ametrines have a strong healing energy that releases negativity from within the aura. The piece focuses on colour gradient of Violets, pinks, reds, oranges, yellows, golds. - (gren) name for a branch that comes off from the main trunk - (gram) something written or drawn, a record. - Geometric Wireframe - Octagram with a central vertical mirror plane compressed in an ellipse form.
