A procession of figures advances across unstable surfaces, repeating gestures without arrival. The work examines movement as obligation rather than choice, where bodies participate in a system that continues regardless of awareness or resistance. Contact us.I am a visual artist and filmmaker based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My practice spans photography, digital manipulation, collage, and archival print, working across multiple visual languages rather than a fixed style. I move fluidly between urban observation, abstraction, and speculative or cosmic imagery, using each as a way to think about time, scale, and human presence.
Much of my work originates from everyday encounters with the city—entry points, transitional spaces, anonymous bodies, and moments where labor, waiting, and survival quietly overlap. These observations are not treated as documents but as starting points, often fractured, distorted, or displaced to explore how bodies endure environments shaped by pollution, congestion, and infrastructural neglect.
At the same time, I am drawn to abstraction and cosmic imagery as a way to step beyond the immediacy of the city. These works reflect on duration, repetition, and the sense of existing within forces far larger than the individual—ecological, temporal, or planetary. The human figure often appears reduced, fragmented, or suspended, suggesting both vulnerability and persistence across scales.
Rather than narrative clarity or spectacle, I am interested in endurance, imbalance, and temporal experience. My background in experimental cinema strongly informs how I think about time, framing, and attention. I approach images as slow encounters rather than definitive statements, allowing ambiguity and atmosphere to remain active.
My works are printed as limited editions on archival paper and are intended to be experienced gradually—as pauses, interruptions, or moments of reflection within an increasingly accelerated and indifferent world.
