VIEW IN MY ROOM
This is a plainair work, just like most of my works are. The work was made at Lebediovka, an old sanatorium at the seaside of a Black sea. The rays of a singular lantern tears out the trainlike line of wild bushes out from the darkness of steppe. The piece of nature is shown to a random spectator and goes back to primal darkness. The neighborhood of man and the nature in half wild places like old postsoviet sanatoriums impresses me much as an artist. It reminds me the atmosphere from the films of David Lynch. The work can be framed as one piece with a separation line between the parts or as two separate pieces but placed close to each other in the room. Each part is 42x46 cm.
