About The Artwork
It all started with a painting I did back in 2018, that painting was called "pensées sauvages", meaning wild thoughts. This autumn I wanted to give it a new twist. The kind of thoughts I had back then are not the same now. I've realized that looking through the window on a rainy day is a propitious moment for reflection. So I wanted to create a drop effect, like if the canvas's surface was a window. All that gave to the painting a sense of nostalgy. Past and present are working together to tell a story.
