Grace In Motion Painting

This is a very large modern landscape painting of a beach scene with a seabird, wildflowers and grass in vibrant colours of blue, red mauve and orange. In this series of idyllic nature paintings I am trying to create a peaceful calm setting while at the same time producing a colourful painting that will brighten any room. The depiction is of nature at it's best devoid of human influence and the inclusion of butterflies or birds gives a sense of capturing a fleeting moment in time. The Painting is on plywood which is backed with a timber support frame made with professional quality joinery. Only artist quality acrylic paints are used and ink is lightfast Indian ink. The board is first sealed front and back and the sides are painted black. The painting is finished with layers of protective polymer gloss varnish followed by a UV conservation (resin based) varnish. Heavy duty "D" rings and cord are attached so that the painting is ready to hang. A signed certificate of authenticity is included
