My artistic practice unfolds within the tension between memory, emotion, and transformation. I work through drawing, painting, and collage, using a layered approach in which traces, fragments, and shifting forms appear, dissolve, and re-emerge. In this way, I create abstract image spaces that invite reflection rather than fixed interpretation. My visual language is deeply shaped by a long-standing engagement with history, archaic symbolism, and funerary cultures. During my fine art studies at the University of Mainz, I intensively explored prehistoric and Indigenous art as well as burial and mourning rituals—sources that continue to inform the emotional and conceptual depth of my work. At the same time, contemporary themes and urban experiences increasingly flow into my practice. In my current focus, Urban Landscapes, I translate impressions of cityscapes, soundscapes, and urban atmospheres into an abstract vocabulary in which external realities intersect with inner psychological landscapes. I do not view my works as narratives but as open spaces of resonance—quiet, poetic, and multilayered. My aim is to create visual environments that evoke inner images, memories, and associations within the viewer. I live and work as an independent artist in Berlin.
