I started doing yoga about a year ago and never stopped. We moved to the green house with an additional room that became my yoga room. for now, it is still empty with only paintings. Around 12:20 everyday, I smoke a few puffs and go in the room and I put a yoga video with sound of waves. i focus on myself only and my body that is etting stronger and happier as I continue everyday with the routine of stretching and strengthening. it is the best thing for my painting since I am connecting with certain poses that work in my mind as a beacon for the painter's path. if i was good with words...

I am interested in experimenting with sincretic images that capture the whole range of religious experiences. I am inspired by the architecture and mural paintings of the Aztecs, Mayan, Zapotecan and other peoples from America and I like to intersect them with the aesthetics brought to America by the Spanish, like virgins, saints and holy beings. I intersect them with a third paradigm which is my personal journey into Indian philosophies and the idea of enlightenment. The result shows where I am now, believing that art is the way, and being an artist is my religion. I am an atheist, after years of searching. I am Mexican, after two migrations.
