Oshi Rabin is an American Israeli artist, designer, entrepreneur, and business leader whose practice spans fine art, public installations, sculpture, and cultural placemaking. Her work explores the relationship between inner structure and external form, translating psychological and spiritual frameworks into physical environments, objects, and visual narratives. Her paintings and sculptures are held in private and notable collections. Rabin works with cities, municipalities, and cultural institutions on projects that integrate creative strategy with human centered design, shaping spaces that reflect coherence, meaning, and lived experience. Her practice extends across luxury residential and commercial projects, public art initiatives, and site specific cultural installations. She is the founder of Mahlstedt Gallery in New York, an interdisciplinary art hub located in a historic brick and mortar space recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. The gallery functions as a platform for contemporary artists and cultural dialogue, bridging visual art with civic and social engagement. As a sought after public and keynote speaker on art, design, and civic placemaking, Rabin articulates the architecture of alignment, a conceptual framework that examines how internal structure shapes external reality. Drawing on ancient models of mastery and the structural philosophy of Kabbalah, her work investigates how mindset, intention, and perception materialize as form and space. This framework informs both her visual language and her approach to shaping physical environments, emphasizing continuous alignment as an evolving process rather than a fixed state. Alongside her studio practice, Rabin is active in cultural development, public art initiatives, and mentorship of emerging artists. She serves as a trustee of The Washington Institute and contributes to policy oriented cultural initiatives related to Middle East affairs. She lives and works between New York and Israel, with extended periods in the Caribbean.
