This work belongs to my "Oriental" series. Which is inspired by Japanese and Chinese paintings of landscapes in duotone. In this case it is black and white. It is a more figurative work, but with more expressionist brushstrokes and I don't like being a faithful copy, I like to create less defined and more visual environments, which inevitably lead me to remember my abstract influence with total freedom in the use of the brush. This work is framed with a black wooden box frame. The framed paint measures 123 (H) x 43 (W) x 4 (D) cm and the original artwork measures 120 (H) x 41 (W) x 2 (D) cm. It is signed on the back and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

What I'm passionate about painting is that my ability to create is set in motion. https://youtu.be/-DoAU0j4njk I discover a new way to connect with myself, to express my inner world through a personal and intuitive language. My painting has a conductive thread, a center, a shelter to expand across limits and looking for stillness and silence. I feel free when I let myself go, with a loose brushstroke on diluted backgrounds, where oil plays with its richness of textures, nuances and endless color palette. Some series have emerged from inner sensations, others from my love for nature, inspired by the microcosm of a flower or the macrocosm of the planets. Always looking for a place to shelter where you can deepen the intimate. Looking back, I realize that a series of milestones have taken me to where I am now and have influenced my painting and the way I understand life. I am a seeker and observer of my surroundings and I have always had concerns that have taken me on different paths. I have been very interested in travel and have immersed myself in other cultures. Countries like India have fascinated me and I have spent long periods there. An important vital moment was when I stopped working as a flight attendant and began studying film and theater. For some years I dedicated myself professionally to interpretation, and this allowed me to discover my emotions and my inner world. In 1988, I had an accident in which I was paraplegic. My whole world fell apart and I had to start from scratch. In 1999, I started painting. The painting always appealed to me, but it took me a long time to dare to take a brush. I thought I didn't have that gift. I dared to take the first steps decorating furniture and discovered that I liked that, that it gave my personal touch and that I had the sensibility to choose and mix the colors. And naturally, I went from decoration to painting.
