Painted with watercolors from a life-drawing session featuring model, Janet Mayer, using bold, fluid strokes, soft color and loose interpretation with a moody expression. This piece won the Classical category for FIDA Worldwide Awards 4 2021. A cropped vertical version is also available. Shaun Jordan created the fashions captured here for The Cristobal Balenciaga Project, a Central Saint Martins collaboration project with the Official Balenciaga museum (Museo Balenciaga), questioning menswear silhouettes by juxtaposing female nuances; the silhouette informed by the mountainous landscape of Getaria, Spain (birthplace of Cristobal Balenciaga) with lenticular lines replicating the concept of topography.
