I did this painting in a park near my house. This is a living piece of forest with a natural landscape. I really liked the lighting in this pre-evening time of day, when the green grass and trees are still glowing, but thick blue shadows are already being cast on the ground, weaving into patterns. When I sat down and started drawing, I thought: “God, how can I do this?! There are so many trees here, how to catch the main thing and not be distracted by unnecessary details?” And she began to lay purple and blue crayons in the shade of the trees. Then I touched with bright green chalk in places where you need to draw light. Soon, stroke by stroke, the whole picture was intertwined like a tapestry. I am very happy that I managed to capture this feeling from what I saw and convey space, light and spring warmth. I also want to note the successfully added graphic details in the landscape. I hope that this picture will warm you with a warm hugging spring sun even in the cold season. Materials: Soft pastels on pastel paper 160 gsm. Size: 30 x 42 cm, 11.8 x 16.5 inch. Copy: 1/1.
