This is the space between seasons, before winter takes hold. And like the seasons we run with our journey, ever evolvi...

Contact us.I am a British contemporary abstract artist based in North Devon, working predominantly in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and raw linen.
My work explores the way a life leaves its mark — the people we meet, the choices we make, the things we carry, lose, shed and learn to accept. Much of my practice draws upon the female experience: the tension between strength and softness, the identities we accumulate over a lifetime, and the freedom that can come from becoming more at ease with who we already are.
I am increasingly interested not in the idea of reinvention, but in self-acceptance. In the possibility that we don't always need to become something new; sometimes we simply need to recognise the person life has already made us.
My paintings are built instinctively through layers of colour, gesture, drawn marks, erasure and interruption. Areas are added, obscured and rediscovered, allowing traces of what came before to remain visible. I am drawn to that tension between control and surrender — creating work that feels both considered and alive.
My most recent body of work, *The Making of Her*, developed following a creative residency in Provence and continues these ideas through paintings about memory, experience, ageing, womanhood and the marks left by a life fully lived.
Each work is an original, one-of-one painting: tactile, imperfect and unmistakably human-made.
My work has been exhibited independently and through galleries and art fairs across the UK.
