Bjanka Kadic was born in Croatia. She is an artist and a photographer living in London. She graduated in photography from the University of Westminster (BA) and the University of the Arts (MA).

Hundreds of Bjanka's photographs have been published in various editorial outlets in the UK and abroad. A small selection of the English language publications includes

Her specialism is imagery for book covers. Publishing houses including Random House, Running Press, Penguin Classics, Piatkus, John Murray, Simon & Schuster, Severn House Publishers and others have featured her photography on their fiction book covers.

Bjanka's work explores the ever-transforming topography of the our environments, whether in the city or in the landscape. Often she captures the changing nature of light through a graphic monochrome aesthetic. Through a paired down, clean visual structure she highlights the narrative potential of photography.

In composite images she applies the formal structure of a grid to represent countless permutations. She highlights the ephemeral nature of things whether it is rising and disappearing of vapour or the blurred motion of people walking in all directions.
