Like Fantasy 1 this drawing is also inspired by another artist who has lived and worked in the surroundiongs of Veldhoven. This by an invitation of a gallery to show his works in a retrospective exhibition. The gallery owner invited also two other artists to do so. Very interesting! I hope the vierwers will lool when they arte in any other wood to find these inspirations. I have chosen this style because it allows me to work/translate my observations and feelings very directly. And also no time for corrections!

Starting point concerning my work is the sensory perception. The daily astonishment, experiences in the direct surroundings inspire , even force me to report small and bigger occurences. While I walk I observe, collect materials, objects and sounds, draw, translate and play with their meanings. Megen and the river '' Maas '' give me the first source of information. My paintings arise in a process of work. Most important are the investigation and the 'translation' of (Duth) light (colours and reflections). Skies and horizo, space and tranparancy.
