`SIN SEENI /sīn-sīnī/ Iranian multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Berlin. His work is often multilayered and incorporates various combinations of media. Language is inseparable in his art, as he aims to convey conceptual ideas through linguistic concepts. In other words, He strives to engage with the Language and Art movement, creating a bridge between this important theme and contemporary media and tools. He sometimes addresses political issues, adopting an ‘artivist’ approach. Some of his works’ language-oriented aspects impart a literary and linguistic quality that alters their function by distorting signs.
