The world is boundless, yet confined. A human is both a part of it and equal in scale, yet can only engage with the portion they are able to comprehend. The constant awareness of the world’s dissonance is unbearable, yet inseparable from existence itself. Limits are not imposed externally — they ...

Contact us.Born in Transit, Between Cultures
I was born during a weekend near the Baltic Sea on a train, but officially registered in Potsdam. I spent my early years in Germany but grew up in Ukraine. Perhaps that's why I’ve always felt drawn to the in-between — thresholds, fragile boundaries, the liminal space — which deeply inspires my art.
A Childhood Full of Sound
I grew up in a creative family: my father played guitar, my mother painted and played the piano. Sound became my first way of perceiving emotion. In this environment, I learned to catch subtle nuances — things not said directly, but resonating between the lines.
The Beginning of My Artistic Path
I am self-taught. My artistic journey began in the early 2000s with pencil portraits. From the start, I was more fascinated by capturing someone’s inner world than simply recreating appearance. My goal has always been to express the unspeakable: emotion, presence, silence, pain, strength, vulnerability, solitude, openness.
Materials as a Language of Emotion
One day, on a shopkeeper’s advice, I tried charcoal — and it became my main medium. Charcoal allows me to create bold, dramatic, yet incredibly delicate forms. It conveys passion, fragility, emotional intensity, the unspoken. Later, I also turned to paint, exploring how color amplifies a story, sets the mood, and alters perception.
Artistic Influences and Cultural Landscape
Living in Ukraine during the 2000–2014 period shaped me deeply — a time of social change, generational hypersensitivity, loss, and identity formation. Music, especially the dubstep movement, became more than a backdrop — it was a mood, an inspiration. Observing different social layers sharpened my perception of human nature, injustice, resistance — all of which I now channel into my work.
A Life Pause as a Starting Point
I stepped away from art for a decade — due to motherhood, personal challenges, trauma, and the need to survive. But that pause became a time of profound internal growth. I returned to creativity with a new purpose — not just to depict, but to speak through images. To draw not with my eyes, but with my heart.
Thematic Focus
My focus lies in human inner states — solitude and connection, tenderness and tension, strength and unseen wounds. My art is intuitive, emotionally charged, sometimes intentionally raw. I leave traces of movement, like life itself leaves its marks.
Current Practice
Today I work with charcoal, acrylics, and texture.
