The art of calligraphy and paper are closely related. Since its origins, calligraphy required the invention of a support on which it could manifest itself more freely. From clay tablets, papyrus and parchment to the invention of paper in the East, calligraphy manifested itself as a gesture on an absorbing, subtle and sophisticated surface. This work is a calligramature, a calligram, on 3 strips of painted engraving paper, cut in half and rearranged in a single composition; the inks used, another of the elements that make up the set of calligraphic tools, along with the paper and the brush or the pen, were the acrylic paint and the bitumen from Judea. In this case I also used the collage on one of the strips of paper. In order to ensure its conservation, the work will be mounted on a sandwich of transparent acrylic sheets, ready to be hung on the wall.
