I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where I grew up and spent most of my life. I studied Fine Art and established my own private art school which I ran for ten years. I moved to England in 2000 where I’ve been living and working ever since. My artwork reflects the graphic and decorative aspects of my character. I spent three years working in Vietnam as an Art teacher and this immersion into aspects of East Asian culture has also informed my artistic practice.
