I am a self-taught contemporary artist from Lithuania, working in acrylic on paper and canvas. My practice is focused on “portraits of inner states” - explorations of consciousness expressed through the human face.
Each piece belongs to an ongoing study of emotional presence, restraint, and inner equilibrium. Through reduction and compositional clarity, I aim to distill complex psychological states into quiet, contemplative visual forms.
My practice is grounded in the belief that these inner experiences are shared across individuals, inviting reflection on emotional awareness and the subtle structures of human consciousness.
These works investigate universal human conditions, transforming the figure into a symbolic and contemplative space rather than representation.
I aim for my work to encourage viewers to reflect and reconnect with their authentic self. The emotions and inner states depicted are universal - shared human experiences that resonate across individuals. Through my practice, I seek to foster emotional awareness and a deeper sense of inner connection.
