This work returns to observation, but without returning to description. The landscape is constructed through direct engagement with form and color. The mountain mass is simplified, held together by broad, directional strokes rather than detailed articulation. Structure is present, yet reduced. The f...

Contact us.For me, painting is a way of giving time material form.
What I look for is the sound of wind inside painting. Not wind as an image, not as a landscape or a motif, but as a presence — a quiet movement within stillness, a breath of time held in colour, surface and silence.
A painting does not begin with the first brushstroke. It begins before that: in waiting, in doubt, in the attention given to a blank canvas, to the tension of fabric on the stretcher, to the texture of the ground, to brushes, pigments, and the smell of the materials. Before an image appears, the work has already begun. There is no form yet, but there is already pressure. There is no answer yet, but something is becoming possible.
This moment before the work fully exists is important to me. It is the point where material has not yet become form, and thought has not yet become explanation. In that interval, painting keeps its mystery. It does not have to obey speed. It does not have to become a product, a proof of presence, or another image added to the visual noise around us.
We live in a culture that asks for constant visibility: to make more, to appear more often, to keep proving that we are here. But painting can resist this rhythm. It can be a place of pause. A place where a person steps out of the stream for a moment and begins to feel time, colour, silence and matter again.
I do not see a painting as a final answer. I see it more as an entrance into unknown territory, where the result cannot be completely predicted. The real work begins when something opens beyond the market, beyond the viewer’s expectation, and even beyond the artist’s original intention. A painting is not a declaration. It is an approach to what cannot be fully understood.
My interest in art is not limited to the image. I am also drawn to the invention of form.
That form may be a painting.
It may be an object.
It may be a space.
It may be a way of seeing.
I am interested in objects and environments that change the way a person moves, perceives and relates to a place or to matter. A movable wall, a transformable object, a device that shifts our habitual contact with the world — for me, these belong to the same field as painting. They come from the same impulse: to recognise that an existing form is no longer enough, and to try to create another one.
Painting, for me, is where colour begins to resonate, where silence becomes almost physical, and where time gains density.
