About The Artwork
She loved those roses. She nurtured them, trimmed them, cared for them. She carefully selected the fertilizer, rubbed the leaves of the aphids. It provided protection for the winter, protecting against snow, moisture and frost. And whenever she sprouted new shoots, she talked to them and sang lullabies, as to children. Sometimes she even played them beautiful melodies. She played them much more beautiful than people, because roses were her heart. And they bloomed, developed their buds, responded with fragrance. Sometimes I think it would be better if her heart was just beating for the flowers, because it turned out to be too delicate for human beings. The painting comes from the spring cycle, created in 2018/2019. It is painted with oils on canvas 80/80 cm, varnished, ready for hang. It was exhibited in Q22, Warsaw in 2019.

I am a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. My work is "bipolar": figurative and abstract. Both ways complement each other and inspire. Although seemingly they seem to be completely separate, they "nourish" my work, not letting myself burn out. Their common part is color and a reference to dreams, in which nothing is impossible, and parallel worlds permeate. My art is my way to enjoy the world, its beauty and share it with people. In my abstract works, I consider each painting as a separate world, a separate reality that I discover and explore. I like to use forms and shapes associated with nature. Forms similar to leaves, boats, stones, scales. Contours of known reality in an unknown world. I observe their interactions among forms and colors.
