Although I do paint on traditional rectangular canvases, I also design and construct asymmetrical canvases to serve as a base for my large, irregular shaped artwork. Diverse shapes allow me to freely explore concepts without the limitations of a pre-set shape, size or boundary. Since I love texture, my paintings, besides also being bold, vibrant and colourful in nature, are also highly evocative of low-relief sculpture. I love to experiment with texture and no two paintings are alike.
