This expressive abstract landscape is inspired by the raw beauty and vibrant energy of wild fields at the height of summer. Through rich layers of acrylic and dynamic, gestural brushwork, I sought to capture the rhythmic dance of wildflowers swaying in the wind. The palette — a harmony of earthy och...

Contact us.With over a decade of rigorous academic training, including six years at the National Academies of Fine Arts in Kyiv and Moldova, my foundation is rooted in the mastery of classical realism. However, my current practice is a deliberate and soulful departure from those traditional constraints. As a Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, I now bridge the gap between disciplined European craftsmanship and the raw, atmospheric energy of the North American landscape.
My work is not a documentation of nature, but a translation of it into a "living field of sensation." I am fascinated by the impermanence of our surroundings—how a meadow or a cityscape is never a fixed location, but a shifting state of light, wind, and emotional presence. Having mastered the rules of representation, I now find liberation in breaking them to capture the invisible: the hum of insects, the vibration of air, and the "transience of being."
Working primarily wet-into-wet with professional acrylics, I embrace a process of "organic chaos." I allow pigments to flow, merge, and interrupt one another, keeping edges open and forms unstable. This speed and spontaneity prevent the work from becoming a slavish replica of reality, instead preserving the immediacy of a fleeting moment. Every painting is a balance of intentional mark-making and the beautiful accidents of the medium.
Recently featured in Art Avenue magazine, my work is designed to invite "slow looking"—a restorative sensory encounter in our fast-paced world. I leave space within the layers of paint for the viewer to enter personally, stimulating their own memories and finding peace within the vibration of color and light.
