About the Artist
Iveta Gaile
I've been drawing all my life: I drew greetings as a child, then I learned academic painting at art school and in my studies. When I went to church with my children, I started drawing Bible assignments with a line to make it interesting for the children to be at the service. The worksheets piled up so much that several books were published over time. Retiring with a giant swing has brought me back to my love - of oil painting. I crave the process of creating pleasures by painting magnificent flowers, portraits, Jesus Christ, Our Lady, portraits of Saints, landscapes and even pets (the latter both after photographs). Now, upon reflection, I have realized that most of my paintings are decorated with medical institutions and doctors' offices, because my works create peace and joy!
