Often people say looking into a horse’s eye reflects back your own soul. It may even show you things that you had forgotten were there. I was trying to capture the reflective nature of the horse eye with the colors of the sky easily distinguishable in the iris. This smaller piece is the perfect size for first time collectors. Painted on sturdy gessobord with a wooden cradle it is ready to display without any additional framing needed.
