ABOUT THE ARTWORK

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Created through an intuitive studio collaboration, this work reflects a moment of rare artistic alignment — where form emerges beyond intention, and gesture becomes instinctive. The body dissolves into abstraction: a landscape of curves shaped by light and shadow. Contours unfold as shifting terrain...

Contact us.My relationship with visual art began early, in museums and in front of Renaissance painting, where I first learned to read light, composition and the quiet narrative of an image. I discovered photography at sixteen, with my father’s camera and a home darkroom. I built a career in engineering, but photography never left: it grew from a parallel interest into the center of my practice.
My work moves between landscape, portrait and the human form, with a growing focus on conceptual photography. Across genres I am drawn to transitions: between light and shadow, presence and absence, clarity and ambiguity. Nature is a recurring foundation. I approach the landscape and the human body as parts of the same continuum, sharing a language of form, rhythm and imperfection.
For several years I have studied chiaroscuro, the shaping of form by a single directed light. The inquiry began with Landscape of Light, where the body becomes a landscape revealed by illumination, and led to Between Breath & Shadow (2026), a study of the nude in black and white. That series was nominated in the Nude category at the Fine Art Photography Awards (FAPA) 2026 and received Honorable Mentions at the Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA) 2026 in two categories: Portfolio – Fine Art and Fine Art – Nudes. Its continuation, Continuum, presents each image as a diptych, in monochrome and in color, asking what it means to see.
I am not interested in direct representation. I use photography to interpret: to build images of atmosphere, tension and a quiet, unresolved narrative.
