ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Mid-Century sculptors who strove for simplicity of form. The colors dicated the final outcome of each piece. The desired feeling of the viewer is contemplative beauty, visual pleasure. An understanding that each piece came from the waste of the long process of creating a surfboards. Each color represents a surfboard in southern California made from Upcycled Surfite resin.
