ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Triangular pyramid from the VISIBLE VOID series. This series is characterized by form and emptiness. Reflections, shadows, perspectives, light, surroundings and viewing angles constantly change the appearance of the sculpture and always give new insights and mood. Four hand-formed aluminum elements are riveted with 3 cm long steel sleeves to form an equilateral triangular pyramid. Due to the natural oxide layer of pure aluminum, this platonic solid (tetrahedron) is corrosion-resistant and weatherproof. The sculpture can be placed free-standing or hung on a wall, tree etc. The pyramid, including the integrated hanging / stand system, weighs 1.2 kg and is dated and signed on the back / underside.
