Contact us.is a Nigerian artist, painter, and digital creative whose work reflects personal experiences, imagination, and contemporary visual expression. From an early stage, he developed a strong passion for art and creativity, exploring different forms of artistic practice while building his identity as a visual artist.
Before relocating to Lagos, Sulaimon Wasiu Akande had already been practicing art independently and developing his creative skills on his own. However, it was during his four years working as a salaried employee in Lagos that he discovered and fully connected with digital art. The experience of working, living, and navigating everyday life in Lagos exposed him to new ideas, creative possibilities, and a deeper understanding of visual communication.
Through this journey, digital art became more than a profession — it became a powerful medium for expression, storytelling, and experimentation. His background in both traditional painting and digital creativity allows him to combine emotion, symbolism, and contemporary aesthetics in a unique way.
One of the most recognizable elements in his artworks is the repeated use of the eye symbol, which serves as a signature within his artistic movement. The eye represents awareness, identity, observation, vision, and the emotional experiences that shape human life and creativity.
Over the years, Sulaimon Wasiu Akande has produced numerous artworks that reflect struggle, growth, imagination, and self-discovery. His artistic practice continues to evolve through both traditional and digital mediums, allowing him to create works that connect deeply with viewers while contributing to the contemporary Nigerian art scene.
