Raya Korkut is a Bulgarian-born multidisciplinary artist working between Sofia and Vienna. Her practice explores personal memory, spatial identity, and emotional architecture through painting, drawing, installation, and photography. A graduate of the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Mag.art., with distinction), her work blurs the line between interior landscapes and external structures—often reflecting fragmented narratives and silent tension. She has exhibited internationally, from solo exhibitions in Sofia to group shows in Vienna, and was awarded the Velux International Painting Prize for Austria and the Red Carpet Art Award. Recent projects include the founding of her studio-gallery Tebeshir, a space for intimate dialogue and community-centered art. Raya’s visual language is experimental yet emotionally grounded—reflecting the undefined spaces between what we remember, what we construct, and what we choose to reveal.
