I am Iveta Zujevica, creating under the name IZETA — a Latvian artist exploring emotion, transformation, and the unseen layers of human experience.
My work is intuitive and expressive, often balancing between abstraction and emotional narrative. Through color, movement, and light, I create a visual language that speaks beyond words — about passion, vulnerability, courage, and inner change.
Each of my artworks is deeply personal. I don’t just paint what I see — I paint what is felt. Every piece becomes a moment, a state, or a silent conversation within myself, inviting the viewer to experience their own reflection.
My background is in business management, and I have spent many years working in creative and hospitality fields. This experience has shaped my sense of aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail. I have also studied floristry and decorative arts, which influence my sensitivity to form, texture, and harmony.
Currently, I am refining my portrait painting skills in Renaissance techniques at the PorteysArt Art Studio, deepening my understanding of classical methods while continuing to develop my own artistic voice.
My work is a search — for something beyond the visible, where emotion takes form and the intangible becomes present.
