There's always 2 sides to a story- 2 perspectives, 2 versions... (or more). In this work, I endeavor to convey both sides. They contrast and they have great similarities. You decide which side speaks to you more. Perhaps you'll find yourself in the middle, relating to both interpretations. I am deeply moved by the drama and raw contrast of black and white. Color enhances and highlights the contrast. Ultimately, I strive to tell a story using fewer 'words.' Less is more. The painting is sealed with an acrylic topcoat that gives the surface a slight semi-gloss finish and provides added protection and longevity. D-rings and wire attached for immediate and easy hanging.
