A recent theme of my works is based on the truth of nature and quantum mechanics. This “A.I.R.” series is the newest work on this theme. A.I.R. means All In Real. Discontinuous quanta, the basis of all physical phenomena, replace the concept of infinity inferred by human senses with the finite material world. The work visualizes the microscopic and invisible world identified by particle nature. I dropped the ink on the atypical panel to show the horizontal equal relationship of all things. It's a difficult process that requires repeated and delicate procedures over a long time. Each tiny drop that makes up the landscape of the microscopic world represents the smallest unit that can no longer be divided and the individualized particle nature. Please read the preface of the exhibition below. LEE Phil (Art History & Criticism, Professor of Hongik University) Park’s work is the aesthetic expression of his ideas for equality and respect. His work which combines abstraction and ideas, and science and equation is realized through the intense labor. He visualizes his philosophy through thoroughly meticulous labor. The relationship of particles and units forms an air of contingency, and becomes a landscape. The variables of relationship with the fluidity of each unit constantly change the landscape. If the infinite world is unrecognizable, Park visualizes the compositional aspects of the micro world as a finite landscape to perceive the infinite world. As an artist-philosopher. according to his wisdom, individuals are equal and respectful towards one another and therefore do not establish any object of discrimination. When one takes a step back and immerses in these thoughts, the individual burdened by the world of hierarchy feels a sense of freedom. The artwork that contains the artist’s philosophy opens up landscapes in the minds of viewers to contemplate life and existence.

website: Instagram: park_yongho_art I’m a metal artist and painter, applying metal works to painting. Though I’m a Korea based artist, I’m very active internationally. For many years I’ve been working in Japan, France, and the U.S.A. with lots of galleries. I seek the harmony of two different categories, metal work and painting. And I try to make them in good balance and moderation. So my artwork is differentiated from normal painting in many ways. Every work includes metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, etc.), which are combined with various other materials (wood, plaster, etc.) It has distinctive matière and three-dimensional effects. And it’s possible to adjust the size or color of artworks, according to collectors’ requests. I think artwork can be a good communication method even if it’s not a language. So I always try to express various thoughts and emotions in my work. Because I think communication is always the most important requirement for artwork. There are many beautiful things, not visible but do exist in this world. When I feel and recognize them, they fascinate me and stir up my sensitivity. I would like to share with everyone the beauty that I feel and express through artworks.
