Contact us.Born in Montenegro, Milan now resides in the United States. His involvement in the arts began at an early age, and by the age of 17, he was already exhibiting his work in numerous group exhibitions. After graduating with a degree in Architecture in Belgrade, Serbia, he moved to the United States.
Milan brings a unique and diverse approach to his art. Much like his work in architecture, where he designs homes using a variety of styles, forms, and materials, he does not limit his artwork to a single mode of expression. Instead, he continually challenges himself by exploring different media, techniques, and forms.
His work often combines layers of acrylic and oil paint with spray paint and other materials. Moving between surrealist, abstract, sculptural, and realistic expressions, Milan brings a fresh and evolving perspective to his artistic practice. A distinctive aspect of his work is the integration of sculpture and painting, resulting in three-dimensional sculptural paintings and wall sculptures that blur the boundaries between traditional artistic disciplines.
Milan has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. His work was featured in the 2003 surrealist exhibition “Brave Destiny” at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center in Brooklyn, as well as at the San Diego Museum of Art. He also presented a solo retrospective exhibition at Think Tank Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles, showcasing approximately 50 large-scale paintings.
