Bold color and designs make this painting unique. The aqua and bright neon pinks marry so well together. As your eyes circle around each corner, you are hit with not only color, but unique shapes. There is not a dull moment here at all. Each time you look you will think of something else. I can see ...

Contact us.Born and raised in Brooklyn NY in the 1950’s gave me a great chance to grow and stimulate my creative soul.
Color and texture have been with me my entire life. I remember helping my mother in our flower garden as a child. The colors hypnotized me! I would tell her that I could “feel the colors”. I could hold a flower in my hand and just be happy…..the bright bold colors energized me. I learned at an early age which colors made me happy, which energized, and which calmed my soul. I learned which colors “played well” together, and which took center stage in a crowd.
My formal education was in nursing. I held newborn babies in my arms, as well as the sick and dying . It made me who I am today…..a very empathetic woman who sees through the roughness of people, places and things. I find beauty everywhere.
After years of nursing , I turned to the arts. I started my creative years with jewelry design. I enjoyed working with all the color gemstones. It made me feel like being back in the colorful garden. I worked with jewelry for several years, until I found paints!
I started painting so that I could visually explain the feelings that I have for color from my garden. Each painting is an explanation of how happy the earth, my garden, color and texture of flowers and plants give me each day I am painting.
I am a self- taught artist. I didn’t want to learn and copy other people. I wanted to find my own path with color and texture. I wanted to find the joy of experimentation.
Most of my paintings are multi - media. I start with one medium and as I progress I add others, to give me texture, color and most importantly….FUN!
I am in my senior years and feel like I have finally found myself in painting. I continue to go to all art related events to keep growing, enjoying meeting others in the craft and keep wondering “ what shall I paint next”!
