In *Rondini*, the pictorial gesture becomes flight. The black and blue brushstrokes cut through the purple background like wings in motion, while the explosions of yellow and red seem like calls, trajectories, songs in the air. There are no figures, but there is a migratory rhythm, an energy that fl...

Ermann was born in 1979 in Sicily, and from an early age he cultivated a deep passion for art and music. At the same time, he distinguished himself through strong academic determination: his desire to excel led him to achieve the highest grades in his school, earning a scholarship. At eighteen he moved to Germany, where he began a career in the construction sector; after a short time he returned to Italy, continuing to work in the building industry across Veneto, Trentino, and Lombardy. During these years he refined his technical skills and developed a particular sensitivity to materials, surfaces, and the transformation of space. While living in Lombardy, he also decided to pursue his interest in fashion by attending a renowned fashion school in Milan. It was a period of significant personal and professional growth: his efforts were recognized and rewarded, encouraging him to open his own company and transition from construction master to entrepreneur. A serious car accident abruptly interrupted this path. The physical consequences required a long recovery period and forced him to close his business and return to Sicily. It was a moment of rupture, but also the beginning of a new direction. Ermann carries within himself the essence of the “rebuilders”: those who not only construct houses, but reconstruct themselves many times throughout life. In this new phase, he chose to reshape his life by returning to what had always accompanied him: art and music. He studied guitar and, in parallel, approached painting—initially on his own and later through dedicated courses. Painting soon became a necessary language, a territory of rebirth. Fate led him to meet a professional painter who would become his teacher and later his life partner. Together they transformed art into a shared project, weaving research, daily life, and vision. After years of metamorphosis, study, and introspection, Ermann decided to present his work to an international audience. Exposing himself through his artworks meant showing himself without filters, and the response from collectors and art enthusiasts confirmed the authenticity and strength of his artistic voice. Today he considers it a privilege to bring his works into the intimate spaces of people’s lives, as well as to design pieces for public environments. For Ermann, each creation is the culmination of a journey marked by resilience, freedom, and continuous transformation.
