This artwork is inspired by the proverb: "The horse is to man as wings are to the bird." The rider, therefore, can only be blue to represent the color of the sky. Thus, this work aims to illustrate freedom, symbolized by the galloping horse and its rider who seem almost to fly through space".

Contact us.More than a passion, art is, for me, an essential value, as it invites us to reflect on a complex world, between inspiration, emotion, and technique. This passion leads, on the one hand, to operating on instinct, giving free rein to the inspiration of the moment, with constant context, and on the other hand, to measuring one's own level of expression according to the technique used.
Art thus delivers a language that expresses itself with each touch of color, and an emotion with each nuance, to transcend perception and inspiration. "To paint is to release an emotion that words cannot express." (Zao Wou-Ki).
As a figurative and portraitist at the beginning, the experience of abstraction naturally leads me to translate my inner world and to create, expanding and enriching my palette. Abstraction harbors a profound sense of freedom and discovery. The works come from the depths of intimacy, and their creation and execution call for a dimension of solitude and meditation in the process of connecting the canvas with me. They are the fruit of an experience of creation, letting go, and emotion. They also become a space for dialogue and sharing with their viewers; offering this same visual experience and inner journey, allowing each person to project their own experiences, or even a scenario, onto them.

SOME REVIEWS:
"It was when he was awarded the Palme d'Or des Beaux Arts by the International Arts Guild that we truly discovered this artist, modest and unwilling to sacrifice himself to the flashy customs of publicity applied to the visual arts. He works alone and appreciates peace and quiet, having traveled extensively. This colorist, whose lyricism is a reflection with the soul of a balanced thinker, has not finished making a name for himself!"
André Charles Rousseau / Art Critic
"Clément Billières has the sensitivity of a reserved man. No verbal exuberance to display his moods! He leaves it to his audience to interpret them. His harmonies express an inner lyricism that bursts forth in color."
J-F H. / La Presse de la Manche
