I am a tutor and practitioner within the
wonderful world of print. I currently teach
printmaking at Courtyard Arts in Hertfordshire England and deliver workshops and demonstrations to local art groups. I have been printing for over 40 years starting my journey at Wimbledon school of art and continuing to the present day in my own studio.
My love of print comes from the processes and what can be achieved , I like to break the rules. My work can look very different depending on the technique- abstract screen prints, traditional Linoprints,influenced by Japanese artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, mono prints using pattern and collagraphs for texture. However they all have a common
theme which is my love of colour.
The most exciting part of printmaking Is “the reveal” when you pull off that first print from the plate, you never know exactly what you will get.
