modelled in clay and then cast in concrete and fiberglass. This relief, modelled in clay and then cast in polymeric gypsum and fiberglass, is an interpretation of Michelangelo's "Bearded Slave". It is part of a series of works that explore the relationship between body and architecture, imagining the merging of the two, by which the industrial materials become alive, almost organic, and at the same time the body is captured and fossilized by the materials and form.
