That is what I saw last fall from the banks of St Lawrence River. Made with handmade paper from Atelier Retailles (Montreal). This incredibly beautiful paper is naturally made from fabric off-cuts sourced mainly from the fashion industry. Signed on the back. Comes with a black mat.

I am a contemporary abstract collagist, working and living in Montreal. My compositions seek to bring out the forms, textures and colours of the paper, and to create a coherent whole, as well as a mood and feel. I am an admirer of the works of Jean Arp, the forms and paintings of Victor Pasmore, and the colours used by Rex Ray and Timothy Harney. However, my greatest inspiration has come from the works of Bertrand Dorny. I use artisanal paper from Atelier Retailles (Montreal). I also use handmade paper from Papeterie St-Gilles, Japanese paper, reclaimed paper, acrylic and graphite, among others to complete my work.
