This piece is inspired by cells free floating in nature. Created during the COVID pandemic, this piece has an almost threatening feeling from the intense black and red background color, while maintaining a beauty in the floating cell structures, inspired by the paper collaged mushroom cap images. Created on 100% rag paper, this piece uses a combination of acrylic, ink, pastel and scratches of graphite into the layers of paint to give textures, symbols and designs. All artwork is one of a kind and comes with a letter of authenticity.
