This artwork is drawn with charcoal and pastel on canvas. I wanted to make her fade out instead of adding the rest of her neck, hair and shoulders. This is about her inner self. Her expression and feeling and the rest is not important and by leaving it out it becomes stronger. The artwork is ready to hang on the wall. But will look nice with a frame, with or without glass.

I went to the Oslo National Academy Of The Art where I studied painting, printmaking and sculpture from 1985 to1992. And took my Master of Fine Art at the Chelsea School Of Art, 1999/2000. After graduation I won the National winner at the UBS Art Award, for UK in year 2000 . My work has been purchased by museums and institutions.I live and work in Oslo, Norway. june.sira@gmail.com
