ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My favorite seasons are autumn and winter, but spring is too colorful for me to ignore. Each year I make pieces that respond to nature in one way or another. Some years they are dances, some years videos, and some years drawings. This year, the spring was long and rainy, which meant that the flowers stayed in bloom for a long time, so I had more time to absorb them and make art about them. This particular piece was inspired by flowers, but also by Barbie.
