Rianne Aarts, born in January 1991, is the founder and creative force behind Teddy and Wool. A lifelong creative, she developed a passion for textile art while studying at the Art Academy Minerva, where she began making small macramé pieces in her free time. Although she graduated in 2016 with a law degree from the University of Groningen, Rianne ultimately followed her true passion and transitioned into fiber art. Now the owner of a successful art studio, Teddy and Wool, Rianne has created unique and captivating art pieces for a long list of private clients and major brands like Google, Starbucks, Hilton Hotels, and Majé Paris. She lives with her husband Thomas and their sons Jonathan, Thom and Stan. Rianne feels blessed to pursue both her roles as an artist and a mother.
