ABOUT THE ARTWORK

An inspiration came to me so I decided to express it through my artwork. I used the color blue because it represents water and it has a calming effect. Ripples are instant effect of the wind on the water surface and it disappears within a short time. Ripples eventually turn to waves when the water surface has been troubled by the wind for a very long time. The ripples are short lived while the waves last longer. The symbol of ripples and waves suggests that simple things can become complex. Greatness starts from little beginnings. Negative aspect: - If a problem is not addressed on time it could lead to a bigger problem. If you do not treat a minor symptom in time, you may end up in the hospital for a major ailment. Positive aspect :- persistence and perseverance are the key words here. If you want to achieve greatness, keep pushing even when you have failed several times. Don't give up. Do not despise your little beginnings in life. An ocean is made up of many drops of water. Consistent and persistent efforts lead to huge success and greatness. If you take a close look at the painting; you will notice 5 shades of blue in the ripples and the waves. I chose the color blue because it is the color of the sky and the color of the sea. It represents serenity, wisdom inspiration and stability. The symbol of the number 5. First of all, the number 5 is my lucky number. It is a very positive number. It signifies personal freedom, independence, motivation, adventure, courage, balance and imagination.I used acrylic and canvas to create this work of art and I hope that veiwers would find it very appealing.

A recording artiste known as Elizabeth Azogu and Nochita by stage name. She has been working on her music career for so long that she forgot the other side of her. She is a very creative and artistic person. Studied fine art in secondary school but as she grew older she became more inclined to music and forgot about her love for arts. Her first professional work on canvas was "The first garden". She used acrylic paint as the medium. " The golden Royal Rose" was her second work on canvas. But she finished it before "The first garden" because of the size and many objects and characters in the painting. She started painting with canvas in January 2023 and those were her first acrylic on canvas work. Previously she used cardboard and other types of paper.
