This painting is one part of a triptych inspired by the shipping yard across the river from Amsterdam, NDSM. I intentionally left the wood grain visible because when walking into this space you become award of the wide range of materials used: wood, metal, concrete, etc. It is a very colorful space with shipping containers stacked on top of each other and used for artist studios and businesses. This work is currently NFS due to its schedule display in an upcoming exhibition in Washington DC called "Not So Concrete".
