ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Look deep into the pond to see fall leaves floating in the ripples. Calm and serene with a labyrinth stone accent made to resemble the Labyrinth at the Church in Chartreuse France. Encaustic wax painting - translucent in nature - base substrate is cradled birch with the sides finished in natural wood stain. Cradled panel needs no frame. Labyrinth 'stone' made from clay and ripples done with shellac and blue ink. Hanging hardware in place.
